I love this photograph so much that I used it in a mosaic. The mosaic is intended to be a tribute to the seasons and to excellent Flickr photographers. It’s called “Feels Like There’s a Chill in the Air”. I was trying to capture the essence of October, and your picture was perfect. Thanks so much for allowing people to use your photos on Big Huge Labs. I hope you like the mosaic I made. You can view it here:

Very nice shot John. I viewed it bigger and could appreciate the details... details everywhere. The sky is nice and natural, in fact, this shot is natural. No over process, just simple and nice. I am not sure about the integrality of the intire capture, I think I would have croped some of the left portion to keep the concentration of the viewer on the right side, wich for me, holds the best elements of this capture.

Still. Lovely, like your shots always are. Please post again really soon and thank you for your great participation in our thread.

YES from me. Cheers to you!

The interaction with the clouds and the lines in the field makes it for me. A boring landscape seen thousand times captured in an interesting way. I would prefer a deeper pov with a little bit more sky 2/3. Sharpness, tones and composition = "Yes"
      Happy new year!

Thank you for leaving us the option to view this image in a larger format, it looks great. This photo immediately brought back nice memories of the rural areas and farms I was familiar with back in the day. I like the positioning of the hay bale in the image, the colors are natural and there is a lot of detail to appreciate in the large version. This is your 3rd Yes vote, please post to the photo pool.

I have always loved the rolled up hay in fields. The one roll against the well-textured field is awesome. The sky augments the color of the field making this an awesome image. Great photo.

una foto stupenda a dir poco...nonostante il paesaggio troppo familiare per trasmettere qualcosa, visto così mi sembra ancora qualcosa di nuovo.. Seen in:
