'Summer Lights' - Black Point, Anglesey

I was hoping to catch a noctilucent cloud display again tonight, but whats this.. 3rd aurora sighting over Penmon to add to my list

Yeah it's that faint, but you can't pick and choose this far down in the UK... The solar storm had started at sunrise on Saturday, and looked to have slowed down again by sunset, but I was lucky enough to just about catch the purples and greens once it got dark enough...

I also got to watch all the bio-luminescent algae flashing away in the currents between the Point and Puffin Island, very surreal - with a lovely bright milky way too. Up towards the top-right corner you can also make out the fuzzy disc of the Andromeda Galaxy.

It was so warm I fell asleep on a rock next to the water whilst shooting star-trails, head resting on my camera bag so that all I could see was the sky, full of stars.
