Mona Lisa, Musee du Louvre, Paris

The Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci.


It took thirty minutes to get close enough to take a photograph. The painting is surprisingly tiny, encased in a climate controlled room behind thick glass.


Seriously, the tourist pileup here was insane.


And it's true what they say about her eyes following you. It's kind of eerie.
