History Revealed II - Seacliff State Beach, Aptos, California
I know flickr can be a place where it's all about the "here and now". Everyone posting images that are fresh and hot of the presses. Sometimes we dig through the archives or slowly get around to posting favorites from a trip, but often we post our most recent work to get a feel for how people like the images.
Well, here is an image that is probably less than two hours old.
I raced down to Seacliff State Beach, got denied at the front gate due to the beach being closed, so I headed down to the beach via the back door.
As I battled the rain, I came across this old structure in the surf. I have never, ever seen it before. Water would pour through all the holes, which was cool, but I couldn't pass up a long exposure with the storm clouds.
The big sets kept me from getting any closer than this, but I figured I throw it up since it is so "fresh".
