We're helping an ongoing project on Eldert St in Bushwick. They're already taken several cats from a disused playground, including some friendly cats. We're trying to determine if these older kittens (around 3.5-4 months) can be tamed. They have been meowing to each other, which may be a good sign. Adult feral cats don't usually meow, it's really just for kittens and mom cats. When cats are tame they transfer this behavior to humans. So at least this batch is still in the meowing phase. Now all we have to do is get them to switch from meowing for each other to meowing for us humans. To do this we'll have to keep them separate from each other. If we get more signs they can be tamed, we'll need fosters who can work with them to help them come around. More info on this soon! #kittensofbushwick #fostersneeded #feralkitten #feralcattaming #feralsocialization instagr.am/p/CKRHmMAFFoo/
