We got in the habit of microchipping feral cats a few years ago. It helped when a cat turned up at the city shelter so we could know for sure if it was one of 'ours.' But it has other benefits as well. In the past month we've been contacted 3 times about cats microchipped in our name. In all 3 cases, the cats had become friendly and their new people wanted to adopt them. They brought them to local vets who scanned the chips and called us. We were able to provide them with the cats' vet records. Congrats to Bandit, Dimitri and Tony! #microchipyourpets #catsofbushwick instagr.am/p/CB3zUxLD2wz/
