Sundown at Lindy Point - Blackwater Falls State Park, W.Va.

A short 4/10th of a mile walk takes you to Lindy point, overlooking the Blackwater River gorge here at Blackwater Falls State Park. It's a beautiful place to catch a sunset, just don't wander too close to the edge....800 feet straight down!

    I like the second photo best. Those are my favorite type of clouds. I've never made it to Lindy Point when visiting the park, I think because some of the road is closed in winter and it becomes a much longer hike.
