Shades of Blue

You could use every word for blue in your vocabulary to describe the stunning views of sea and sky from the Grecian Islands. The small village of Oia is carved from the volcanic rock and clinging to the cliffs overlooking the Aegean Sea.

We rode in a bus up the narrow road comprised of sharp switchbacks; oncoming traffic had to pull over and wait for us to pass. As we climbed higher and higher, more of the stunning expanse of sapphire and blue sea was visible.
