1928 Bear Mt. Road and Bridge

This 1928 photo shows the approaching view to the Bear Mountain Bridge. Completed in 1924, the Bear Mountain Bridge crosses the Hudson River from Westchester to Rockland counties just 4 miles south of West Point. Revolutionary War historic site, Fort Montgomery, is visible in the background and "Anthony's Nose" mountain to the right.
