Loch Stroan

Loch Stroan.

This is a popular coarse fishing Loch, which is a widening of the Black Water of Dee, a river running from Loch Dee and Loch Ken.

The Raider's Road, a popular forest drive, open April - September, runs alongside the Eastern bank. There is a car park at the South East corner and a picnic area.

There is a picturesque disused railway viaduct spanning where the river exits from Loch Stroan.
