La Tour Tower at Victoria Beach
((Please click L to view in lightbox))
This photograph was taken with one exposure. I do not use multiple exposures nor do I blend photos with photoshop.
I only crop and adjust white balance and tones in Lightroom.
Located at Victoria Beach, La Tour Tower was built in 1926 by the Brown family with purpose of providing a way to reach the beach from the high cliff houses above. The Victoria Beach Tower is a 60 foot, Norman - style tower with a staircase inside.
I only shot 10 photos off before I got nailed by a nasty wave, there were about 5 other photographers, but left to safer grounds after the big swell rushed in on everybody.
I didnt know how dangerous this place could be at high tide, and dripping back to the car I realize I should have brought some towels.
I have to say the water seals on the Mark III and L lenses are pretty awesome.
