Not Quite Perfect. But Close.

Driving up the 395 after a hugely satisfying day at June Mountain, I was struggling to think of how the view could have been any better.

Huge, mineral-rich lake with unique emerald color? Check.

Epic sky? Check.

Soft diffused sunlight? Check.

To be honest, the rainbow wasn't even on my checklist because that'd just be dreaming too high. But since it decided to crash the party, check.

Ah, but where are the Blue Angels in their F18s roaring overhead in perfect formation ? Dang, nowhere to be found. So not quite perfect. But close.

Rainbow at sunset over Mono Lake, California.

Three shot panorama taken with iPhone 4.

pterodactyls would've made it pretty perfect, too.

I didn't know my iphone could make panoramas, what app?

    great shot.

Tiffani I know there's a handful of apps that shoot panorama, and they probably have the advantage of locking the exposure. But I don't actually use any of them, I just shoot normally and use Photoshop to stitch together.
