Nicole PhotoJAYwalking

Nicole led our fun Photowalking Utah 'walk last night, which was fun as always. Love the social time with fellow photogs while we wandered Old Greek Town in downtown Salt Lake City.

At the start of the event it is tradition to take the group photo. We all set up in front of the Trax station to get this shot. I thought i'd be funny to catch the moment on video. Hope you enjoy :)

See my set of photos from the event.

    You can CLEARLY see the words "Cross only at Crosswalk". She might be a great photographer, but she's not much of a reader!

    jk, of course!

    She has the D700, she should have set it to take interval shots, like 30 shots 1 seconds apart.

    Fun video

    @Jeff ... actually, I have the Canon 7D. No D700 (yet). ;)

    I actually have a cheap wireless trigger, I just didn't think to bring it on this photowalk. Note to self to remember to bring it on all walks, for the group shot if nothing else!

    Jeff is Very correct -

    Timer button on your DLSR is NOT for group shots anymore!
    From here on out please use INTERVAL timer button for most all timed shots, specially group shots.

    Use timer button only on the 2 second setting when you don't want the camera to shake for the long exposure things.

    That is all ;)

    @nicolesy Opt, My bad. For some reason I was under the impression you had a D700 too.

    Mr. Jarvie ... Canon doesn't have an interval mode like the Nikon does. Plus, it wouldn't have been as fun if I had used interval. ;)

    Anything is more fun if it has some element of death/danger, right?
