Haunted Ledge Light

Ledge Lighthouse guides entrance to the Thames and New London Harbor. Built in 1909, it's said to be haunted by the melancholy ghost of its keeper, John Randolph. Randolph committed suicide after learning his wife had fled with the Block Island Ferry Captain.

Photo was taken from Eastern Point, Groton, CT. Nikon D200 w/ Sigma 70-300 mm.
