Bare naked cake!
The bride, Daniela, wanted a version of Maisie Fantasie's un-iced cake. It's victoria sponge and the middle tier is lemon.
Non-cakers might think this would be easy but I was quite nervous about making it - thanks to the Flickr girls for all the help and advice, especially Lynette and Lizzie - thank you. It actually turned out quite fun to make, and I'd quite like to do it again!
The MAJOR stress was caused by the florist, who forgot to leave the flowers and had to drive back across London with more. They arrived half an hour before the guests - and the flowers were the wrong colour. Had to go with it though, given the timings, I really hope the bride doesn't mind :-(
