These photos were taken during a 2 night stay in York in June 2018, with friends Debbie and Donna, to celebrate Debbie's 60th birthday. We had more than glorious weather - hot! I have been to York many times before - even lived there in an early life. It is now even more interesting - a mixture of awe-inspiring beauty and seedy 'hen nights'. We stayed in a wonderful airbnb, 41 Hampden Street, which was the perfect location. Within easy walking distance of the centre of York and access to York City Walls at the end of the street. Breakfast was provided in the sense that what we needed was left in the fridge for us, and at M and S we were able to buy a 3 course meal and bottle of wine (which was easily enough for 2) for £10. Together with playing Rummikub, and discussions ranging from research, to philosophy, to online learning, to online dating, meant that the evenings were equally entertaining.
