Inat Kuća

Known as Despite House, House of Spite or House of Pride, this is now a restaurant. But the story behind it is that a stubborn owner refused to sell his house to the authorities who wanted to pull it down for the building of the City Hall. Eventually the authorities met the demands of the owner and he was paid a sack of gold whilst the house was rebuilt brick by brick on the opposite bank of the river on the place where it stands today.
