famine museum

The National Museum “Memorial in Commemoration of Famines’ Victims in Ukraine” is a monument to the victims of Holodomor (starvation): an artificially engineered famine orchestrated by the Soviet leadership. It’s believed that between 7 and 10 million Ukrainians perished during the 1932-33 famine. There were additional manmade famines in 1921-1922 and 1946-1947 which took countless lives. This museum is dedicated to the victims of those famines.
