66/365 It really is golden hour
I always feel lucky to capture light like this!
I brought my 45mm f/1.8 Olympus lens (90mm equivalent) to try to get used to using it. I really like it a lot, but I can't shoot with a doll in one hand, camera in the other because the minimum focusing distance is too long for my short arms. Peter held Pudding for me for many shots though. :)
We decided to go out for a late afternoon hike on Sunday at San Bruno Mountain State Park, which is just a little place very close to where we live, right off of a highway. We hiked the Saddle Loop trail (2.7 miles). A large part of the trail is treeless, but the sections close to the park entrance have trees along at least one side. It was very windy and cold on the unsheltered parts, but sunny so we had clear views of San Francisco and across the Bay.
