    For the perfect gauc:
    Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Peppers (yes, those are chipotles, my favorite for gauc)
    Good quality sea salt
    Cracked pepper
    cilantro is always tasty too.

As always, CC welcome especially on composition. I think this is better than my first version, thoughts?

I like this one better too.

One question, why did you decide to put the chipotles on a spoon?

Thanks! I put the chipotles on a spoon because since they were in adobo sauce, they stain like none other. If I had a small little wooden plate I would have used that instead of the spoon...

I like both of the pictures, although the colors seem a little bit more muted in this one. Not as concentrated as the other one. Does that make sense? You have gotten so good at styling photos! I'm jealous :) I need more props!

Thanks! Yeah I know the colors are more muted, I was playing with the contrast and decided I liked this one a little lower in contrast.... Actually most of these props came straight from my kitchen! The wooden board is new (well to me, it's obviously rather old), and the backdrop is actually a brown paper bag flattened out...

I like this version a lot. Getting all of the avocado is important! I would like a little more light on the chipotles.

Thanks! Hmm yeah maybe a 2nd smaller reflector was needed in the front, directed on the shadows of the chipotles a bit...
