why he didn't just pull the truck in front of the house instead of rolling this halfway down the block, i have no idea. maybe it's more fun this way.

I'm guessing the "douche" had the audacity to complain about prior mail abuse. That's what I've noticed. Not tolerating the abuse and trying to get the bad behavior corrected = further destruction of the customer's mail.

"What happens in the course of the day" doesn't extend the right to damage the private property of an innocent recipient, even if the sender possibly overpacked it or in some other way broke a rule they may or may not have known about.

And while I highly doubt any one here would honestly lay claim to having fulfilled the duties of their job perfectly through every day, I would also suppose that most of us who have erred in our duties had the sense to do so in private, away from the fully legal and permissible right of the public to photograph or film our errors.

I just can't take a Jets fan seriously. Especially when they just joined flickr to troll this thread anonymously. Maybe I delete!

    odd things:

    1) his left hand seems red, maybe he got hurt and that angered him (still no excuse).

    2) Although the pants do seem to be of some type of uniform there's no logo on the jacket which I think is standard issue for the USPS. So could this be a security guard who's bringing home a box he had to carry a long way from the parking lot?.

In case that this is a USPS worker, which I imagine it probably is since you'd probably know better... did you report him? I hope so :)

@JunCTionS - He's wearing gloves that have rubber palms. They are generally used as gardening gloves. They are quite common for tasks that require gripping.

I think the phrase "go postal" was coined for a good reason!

I like how he doesn't realize that bending down, rolling it, and bending back up over and over and over again is much more exhausting than squatting down, picking it up, and walking it half a block.
