Every time I drove past these cooling towers near the motorway in Yorkshire I made a mental note to return. I got a chance last year on a drive back from London. As I drove north the clouds looked very promising but it was very windy. I couldn't wait to get there. The towers made a great windbreak downwind and that was perfect to capture the cloud movement. Fast clouds also meant fairly short exposures so I had a chance to get my shots before security came out. I got right up to the perimeter to get that feeling of intimidation these giants give off.
