View this panorama in it's original size. There is an amazing amount of detail in this picture.
This panorama did not come out the way I had hoped, but still gives a good view of the boiler area. Behind the electrical panel is a second room where the boiler, and perhaps a steam engine, once sat. There is no floor in this area, and what floor exists is only large enough to set the tripod upon.
The boiler must have sat directly in front of the camera into that curved extension in the back wall. The opening to the chimney is immediately to the left of this on the left side wall. Brick "islands" have large bolts mounted to their top surface where something large was mounted to them. If there was a steam engine in here, I'm guessing it would have been in that area and pit by the far right wall.
