      i think they're condominiums, but they sit on an island in the middle of the st. lawrence river on your way to the casino. they're really cool, as you can see!

      i've seen this condo complex on several occasions in montreal. i've often said that i wished i could live in one of those units!

      Cool. I remember seeing photos of these when they were built or soon after. It was a big deal in the architecture world.

      This is a housing project for Expo67 called Habitat and it is still lived in today!

      Habitat 67 was an amazing idea for urban housing. Every unit has a garden that sits on the roof of the unit below. The units are pre-fab, and can be constructed in many different ways. Unfortunately it never caught on. I remember seeing it as a kid when I went to Expo 67. It was definately one of the most talked about and photographed things at the fair.

      First of all, we have an earthquake in Montreal too.. And it looks not so good. May be it is good orientation. But I know that now this house is a big problem for residents and tax payers
