I passed by this residence in Boone, Iowa a few times and I decided to pull into the driveway and see if the homeowners were okay with me taking some photos.

I was told that it's a Living Museum and is shown by appointment only and I was welcomed onto the property for a full tour and explanation.

It's maintained by a couple and their 16 year old son. The husband is a prostate cancer survivor, works a full time job and in his spare time is an artist, who goes by Lincoln Highway Johnny. If I remember correctly, the wife's name is Linnea and their son in Sean.

They were gracious and welcoming and everything has a story, which they are more than excited to share with you.

I need to do some research on the famous Iowa Hobo, Iowa Blackie (R.I.P.), who rode the rails, wrote books, and spent some time living in the Tree House, which he branded with his bumper sticker.
