Geminid Meteor and Comet C/2013 R1 Lovejoy

The peak night of the Geminid meteor shower is coming up in a few days. Normally the Geminid meteor shower is the best one of the year, but this year, but the approaching full moon will wipe out all but the brightest fireballs.

On the other hand, with bright Comet Lovejoy (C/2013 R1) in the sky, there's a nice opportunity to possibly catch it with Geminid meteors as well, as I did this morning!

I should mention that I followed the trajectory of the comet back across the sky in the iPhone app Starwalk, and as far as I can tell using those tools at hand, this is the proper trajectory for a Geminid meteor to be taking relative to Comet C/2013 R1 Lovejoy. Not that there's anything wrong with random meteors or ones from other showers, I just wanted to make sure that I was labeling it correctly.
