Sun kissed poppies

We don't have whole fields of tulips like I've seen in some of my contact's photos, but there is a stretch of land on the side of Hwy 74 West leading into Rutherford County that is decorated every year with a variety of flowers. Last year it was daisies with cornflower freckles, and this year it’s poppies and cornflower sprinkles.


This photo was a bit of chance, because I don’t often shoot into the sun, but I did this time. And with a wee bit of contrast and levels tweaking, this sun kissed, ray soaked scene emerged.
