Armadillo Dees

Newer Older

A rare sight....a small armadillo that was rooting through my neighbor's garden during the day....(in Corinth, Texas)

These are nocturnal animals and are seldom seen alive during the daylight hours.....

I must say, he looks quite sleepy! Have never seen one of these characters, although my husband's been in Texas a few times and has. Rather cute!

They are certainly strange looking animals... I have seen a lot of 'flat' ones
    on the Texan roads...

In the UK we have hedgehogs instead... also nocturnal and also very seldom seen
    alive during the day... www.animalwebguide.com/Hedgehog.htm
