Mother's Day isn't just about celebrating the love and joy your mother gave to you, it's about celebrating the love and joy she gave and continues to give to all those you care about.
I don't know about you, but my Mom didn't just mother me as I was growing up and as I continue to grow up, she mothers those who are important to me. She looks after everyone's children, she cares for and loves all children. She has a heart so big that it's hard to believe anyone can hold that much love without bursting into a million pieces.
She is as selfless as they come, wildly giving, incredibly supportive, and blesses my life beyond any measure. She has contributed to my life in the most unbelievable ways and she has shown me what it means to be a woman of strength, honour, courage, peace, joy, light, and love.
She has never once given up on me, no matter how hard I tried to make her, and she has always stood up for me even when I didn't know I needed someone in my corner. She has selflessly given me a life I could not be more grateful for and in my mom, I see the woman I aspire to be. She has no idea how damn incredible she is but I will never stop trying to help her see the beauty she possesses along with the love and thanks she so richly deserves.
