This pano spans a very wide view of the galactic plane starting near the sagittarius constellation to the west and ending near the Pleiades cluster During this time of year the summer triangle is beginning to sink lower in the horizon as the winter constellations begin to rise in the night sky offering a nocturnal preview of the celestial delights of the fall and winter months. the right side of the image is a light dome from the town of Los Banos, Ca about 10 miles east of this location. light pollution can be a problem when shooting and gazing the beauty of the night sky. in this image i felt it created a unique color gradient between the cosmos and earth.
