Historic Cistercian Photos
Photos largely drawn from the Albums of Dom Blaise Fuez, Third Abbot of Spring Bank.
Dom Blaise was an avid photographer who spent 25 years in Rome as Secretary to the Abbot General, Economist of the Order, and a member of the Liturgical Commission. His numerous albums documenting his travel on behalf of the Cistercian Order and on vacation provide an important glimpse into post World War II ecclesiastical life in Europe from the beginnings of the liturgical reforms of Pius XII through the implementation of the Novus Ordo.
