Organic Valley Pasture Butter

Most butter is pale and anemic because it comes from Holsteins fed grain.


This butter is very yellow because it comes from cows (probably some Jerseys) who eat grass. The grass has high levels of carotenoids which get dissolved in the butter fat. That's a good thing.


The flavor of this butter is incredible. I actually prefer it to Kerrygold which I never, ever thought happen.
