This is a shot of the Venetian area of Mediterranean Harbor at night. Straight ahead is the launch for the Venetian Gondolas attraction, where Gondoliers take you on a short tour of the Mediterranean Harbor. The building on the left is actually part of the Hotel MiraCosta, the windows on the upper floors stemming from the hotel rooms. Yes, this is the view you have if you get one of the hotel rooms in the area. You get to enjoy the sights and sounds of Venice as gondoliers take guests on harbor cruises and others dine at the water's edge. Behind the camera the canal continues on to the harbor, across which stands Mount Prometheus and the Fortress Explorations area.
Our room is visible in the shot: the two leftmost lit windows on the top floor. In terms of theme park views, the Hotel MiraCosta is unsurpassed. Falling asleep and waking up to this one of the better memories of the entire trip.
If you want to know more about Tokyo DisneySea (and Land) and see some more photographs I'd head on over to the Disney Photography Blog right about now.
