Winter Reflection

    Newer Older

Something about the clouds in the sky and the reflections on the ground made the castle absolutely glow that night.

Reflecting on this past year, I just want to give some appreciation to all you Flickr folk out there. Thanks for all the inspiration, encouragement, and beauty you share. Happy holidays.

This is simply phenomenal!!! The sky gives a neat out of this world feel to it., the reflections are by far the best I've ever seen before, the castle looks great with all the Christmas lights, and that is a great story. I don't think I can put into words/text how great I think this shot really is.

This is easily the most visually stunning photo I've ever seen of either Castle. It may not be some crazy obscure angle or anything like that, but I think that would be too much, honestly. There's already so much going on here (sky, reflections, etc), that to have another element would be overpowering. I've seen some great stuff in 2010, but this might be 'photo of the year' for me. (I only say 'might' in case I'm forgetting a photo that I actually did like better. I’m not trying to give one of those lame “ONE OF the best photos ever” Flickr comments. I really mean it about this being the top photo of 2010 that I can remember.)

I was so pumped last week when I thought I took a photo this of similar quality as this...upon reviewing them both, I definitely didn't!
