Green Lantern's Light

    Newer Older

In the Green Lantern comic books, members of the Green Lantern Corps fight cosmic injustice with a power ring, the most powerful weapon in the universe. The ring's power is only bounded by the imagination and willpower of the wearer. A power ring can generate green, solid-light constructs created from the wearer's mind.

The light effect over this replica Green Lantern ring was created by twirling a small flashlight with a green filter.

Great idea - fantastic result. I love how you think about how to do your effects 'in camera' rather than relying on post processing software.

      Limmerick8: Thank you!

Michael C Clark: Something like that. ;-)

Ŕooner: Thanks. I try to avoid Photoshop and rely on the camera, plus level/color adjustments via iPhoto as needed. I know Photoshop well enough; it's my photography skills that I'm trying to improve, so I'd rather spend time behind the lens.

riffsyphon1024: Indeed! I shot a few extra Green Lantern photos for green week on 7DOS and then forgot to upload them. Oops. ;-)
