Double-crested Cormorant (Phalacrocorax auritus)

    Newer Older

Another image from my Elkhorn Slough Photography Safari (www.elkhornslough.com/photos.html). This time a Double-crested Cormorant taking flight. I shot this at f/7.1 with my lens resting on my knees. I knew the bird would eventually take off as we got closer, so was ready to fire away as soon as it did.
