A Haunted Trail
This is around a 30 minute exposure stacked with 1 minute exposures. As you can see it was a little bit of a foggy/cloudy day, but I think it helped make the photo interesting.
We strobed around the outside and inside and then composited it later in photoshop using masks. Vivitar 285hv on 16th power
So I wanted to make some sweet star trails like my contact liquidinplastic ( Link) for my landscape photography class so I rented a zipcar got together with a couple people I knew and drove an hour to some random place I picked in google maps. I had no idea what I would find or what would be there but I knew I had to get out of the city to find some star trails.
We arrived and found the lake all fenced off but this abandoned barn just begging us to be shot and strobed.
About an hour into the shoot a truck drove by and shined a light on us, I went over and talked to them told them I was doing an Art project and they were cool with it. I even got their security number so if I go back again we can make sure the cops don't get called on us.
