The Hybrid Church Sound System.

Center Cluster for speech and Vocals.

Left and Right speaker pairs on either side of the cluster for instruments and stereo playback.

Notice how the Left/Right speakers on each side are cross firing? This is needed so every listener can hear the full range of sound. We all know how when you take a stereo sound and send it to a mono output, the signal drops 3dB and a lot of the midrange sound is missing.

With this setup, everyone gets to hear the full range of sound without the stereo image. Instead, everyone hears the sound as it comes off the stage rather that everything in the middle or left and right of the stage. Thanks to newer digital mixers, this type of sound system is now possible.

For this system to work, you need a well diffused room.
