Milky Way with Venus
After a few nights of experimenting with astrophotography, I headed out west with a friend, to do some gazing and photography. I wasn't pleased with how wide the 24mm lens was, so hired a 14mm for the weekend. I wasn't disappointed. For starters, the extra stop is a great help for stars. And the extra field of view made more interesting shots. To save the extra expense, in the future I would like to try stitching a few frames together to achieve a similar effect.
Maybe I should have tried to light paint the trees to bring the foreground out more?
