***EDIT FOR HOW DID YOU DO THAT GROUP:

(this is as close as I can remember :P)

the project was for a pile up group, so I took the original pic posted by Katiya and made that my first layer. on that layer i made my adjustments - some liquify to round her head and smooth her nose, a little blur and smudge to soften the facial features. next i looked for a different body, as i didnt want to use the partial body of the original. i found one on my pc (i save all dnlds in a folder) and made that my next layer. the basic angle of the straight-on head shot and the body were a good match. i set the body layer to low opacity so i could get the proportions of head to body right, and worked on the head layer to resize. when they matched, i erased the head on the body layer. i had to do a lot of work on making the skin tones match. i used several of the tools under adjustment, working on both the head and body layers, until they matched as close as possible. then i painted with a soft airbrush in the neck area and used the blur and smudge tool often, both set on low opacity until i was happy. then i merged the layers. next i found a hair i wanted to use. the hair from Renderosity comes in PSD layers, one for the top (front) of the hair, and one for bottom (back). i placed these in new layers and adjusted for size and proportion. then i copied each hair layer, and played with blend modes until i got a color i liked. i then merged all the hair layers with the body. then i found the tiara, placed it, sized it, copied on a new layer, played with layer styles til it was brighter, then merged with body. then a new layer for each brush i used. then the text layer for her name. then on a new layer i used a soft airbrush set on *very* low opacity over the entire body, hair, and brush area to give it even more glow. then flatten. then used the Beautifier filter from Red Paw Media (free), which i then reduced until i was pleased. think thats all :)
