The Vault

The building itself is a monolithic, grey stone structure reminiscent of the namesake of its front-door emblem – The Vault arouses excitement in the shopper before the threshold is even reached. Walking through the doors, one is immediately struck by the grandeur of this chic sneaker shop. With white walls, minimalist interior design, and dizzyingly high exposed ceilings, the wide-open spaces of the newest addition to the Si Vous Play Group’s sports retail family is anything but cramped. With plenty of room to breath, and no shortage of floor upon which to try out your potential purchases, the wide-open, clean and simple concept of this shop ensures a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere in which to check out the most exclusive, hard-to-find models of all your favorite sneaker brands – even if it was released back when you still had braces. That’s right, as the name suggests, The Vault specializes in back-issue, high-end sneaks; stocking models from as far back as 2000 in Nike, Puma, Adidas, and other major sports brands, including of course the world-famous Air Jordan series (and yes, they have the retro re-issues too!!). The shop also prides itself on being among a few respected retailers to have access to the exclusive Lacoste Stealth line, Nike Quickstrikes, and the (coincidentally named)Vans Vault line. Even Puma has recognized the exclusive character The Vault, in the form of a special gift: you can find a pair of limited edition MstrKrft 500m Puma sneakers, custom designed by JFK and AL-P themselves, encased in glass unobtrusively placed on the Vault sales floor beside the women’s tops. And though many have purportedly offered to buy the shoes, either the Vault is not selling – or perhaps no one has made a good enough offer…
