The other side of sunset

So here I am back again at Hornby Lighthouse, not going to lie – I love this place BUT this is my 3rd of 4th photo now from this location.

I think the problem is that I’ve photographed Sydney to death. That’s not a bad thing – this is a very photogenic city we live in but I really do need to start getting out to new locations because I think I am becoming a little photographically spiritless (can you say lens cleaning and mice jumping??).

None-the-less, I called this shot ‘The other side of sunset’ because despite earlier shots from this location my favourite to date was my most recent Sunset Zest, I love that image but it still wasn’t ‘that shot’ I’d pictured in my head. With that in mind I thought I’d flip it up and try for a panoramic at sunrise.

I think I’ve found what I’ve been missing and have a shot I can say I’m genuinely happy with.

Press “L” on your keyboard to view this large on black and, as always, thanks for looking!
