Behind the Church
Along with about 10 other members of the Western Maryland Photographers Association I participated in the Third Annual Worldwide Photowalk on July 24, 2010. This was my first walk with the group. It was an extremely hot day, even at 6pm when the walk started. Luckily there was a breeze and the weather was tolerable.
Our group started at the Upper Platform of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad Station in the Historic District of Cumberland, Allegany County, Maryland, United States.
We headed up an Alley parallel to Washington Street....then onto Washington Street, Prospect Square, down to Lee Street, around to Greene Street towards George Washington Headquarters. We walked across the foot bridge over Will's Creek returning to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad Station at approximately 9pm.
I think everyone who participated enjoyed the walk. I'm certain there were a lot of wonderful photos taken and memories made!
