Then I draw a map of Spain. My students love that. Months ago - in my first drawing - my Spain looked like a mutilated bean or the spots you see when you look into the sun and then close your eyes very rapidly. By now, after hundreds of maps, the biggest mistakes I make are in the size of Galicia, the border between Aragon and France and the coastline near Gibraltar. (Read more: )
