Kraft - Wrapples - caramel apple kit package - 1977
I missed out on a couple chances to get a Wrapples package in the past, but I finally nabbed one this month.
For those that don't remember, Wrapples were created to be a quick-and-easy way to make caramel apples.
We got them a couple times in our house. The packages contained circular "sheets" of caramel that you would wrapper around the apple and warm up in the oven.
Honestly though, I would quickly resort to just eating the caramel sheets right out of the package. Good stuff.
Over time, this packaging has become a bit brittle, with small sections of the white background flaking away. Fortunately, the main part of the graphics are all intact, and hopefully I can keep this from deteriorating any further.
