Sharing Stories From The Battlefield To Ease The Pain

Recently I have been struggling with where to go with my photo style. I like to experiment with different styles, not because I am trying to find any one particular style, but because it keeps things interesting to me. I know you are suppose to come to a point where you define your style and then refine it, but I don't know if I really want or can do that. There is too much out there to enjoy in this medium. If I develop any style at all it will be from something others see in my work that maybe I don't. Is this a bad thing? I don't know. Thoughts?

One thing I am trying to do is come up with projects. Right now I am working on (and this shot is a part of) a project called "The Salary Man Project." The idea is to document Salary Men of Japan. I find them really interesting in the sense that they always appear tired and run down, but get up and keep doing the same routine everyday.

Also, I got sucked into a photo contest. The deadline for popular vote is on May 31st. (EST I think) If you don't mind, please vote for me here. You don't have to sign up or anything else. Just click on the star at the bottom you feel I deserve. Thanks.
