View from Old Indian (Old Indian Trail 3/4)

Once at Lake Michigan, on the horizon one can see, from right to left: the evergreen woods on Platte River Point (just beyond which is the mouth of the Platte River), the Empire Bluffs (in the middle of the photo), and the main part of the dunes of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Just north of the Empire Bluffs is the beach for the village of Empire, and South and North Bar Lake are in there, too.

Near sunset at Lake Michigan beach at the end of the Old Indian Trail in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

Looks better on black.
