[269/365] The Mantis

    Many thanks to my Father-in-Law for spotting this praying mantis camouflaged so perfectly amongst the grass. You can see how tiny he was by using the grass as a gauge.

      great shot! it's like he/she is posing for you. The other day a praying mantis just landed on my chest out of nowhere. and I freaked out. but i should've taken a photo instead.
