Gaudi - Park Guell Salamander – Lizard

There is a lizard ( salamander ) hiding in the open , I think you can only feed it colorful hard candies.

Just setting my mind for vacation , I can't believe but I refuse to count the “sleeps” (29) .

This is Barcelona ( on my birthday last year ) and one of the best know parks – Park Güell . Designed by Antoni Gaudí and named for his patron Count Eusebi Güell .

There is a famous quote from the conversation between them :

One occasion Gaudí said to Güell

"Sometimes I think we are the only people who like this architecture."

Güell replied, "I don't like your architecture, I respect it."

So often I see images that are not my “cup of tee “ but I remember this quote and would stop and look. This is so much fun than same cup of tee every day. I may not like it but if there is soul behind the image I do respect it.
