I don't feel very inspired lately... maybe because I had little time to shoot, maybe because I just chose bad subjects in bad conditions in a hurry, maybe because I'm reading the very good book The photographer's eye by Michael Freeman and I'm noticing how little I know and how bad I am compared to his shots =)
Anyway, I obliged myself to a photographic walk through Florence today and ended up with this picture. I liked the little statue that seemed to be looking after the old man, filling his glass with wine at any occasion while he took a deserved nap after a life of efforts. The bare vision of this scene encouraged me to enter the bar and have a glass of red wine!
I wish I had my Lubitel with me at this time, I believe it could have given a very cool result.
